Vote turnout in America has declined steadily for four decades. In fact, only half of eligible Americans voted in the 2000 presidential election and only 39% voted in 2002!
Vote for America was formed in 2002 to reverse this dangerous trend that threatens the very existence in American of our government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Our volunteers ask friends, neighbors, and co-workers to pledge to be "informed and thoughtful voters" and give them the information they need to be just that, without telling them for what or whom to vote.
Whatever your beliefs - conservative, liberal, moderate, green, undecided - Vote for America wants you to vote. The point is not who you vote for, it's that you make thoughtful choices. Robert Maynard Hutchins said, "The death of democracy is not likely to be an assassination from ambush. It will be a slow extinction from apathy, indifference, and undernourishment."
